After  a year of not getting out and about, i thought it would be good to start the year off with a trip to Sorrento.  It is easy to socially distance on the ferry and once in Sorrento we are free to wander where we choose, which is usually the shops. 

The plan is to catch the 9.00 a.m. ferry from Queenscliff.  The concession fare cost is $22.00 return.  At the moment a mask is required to be worn inside the ferry.  This of course can change.  Once in Sorrento we usually have a coffee stop at the vanilla slice cafe.  After that you can shop or do the millionaires walk or both.  A group walked to Portsea on a previous outing.  Last year we had lunch at the Sorrento hotel which we will do again if that suits.  

DATE IS THURSDAY 18TH MARCH

FERRY DEPARTURE  TIME. 9.00 AM (make your own way or car pool) 

LUNCH SORRENTO HOTEL 

RETURN EITHER 2.00PM OR 3.00PM FERRY (your choice)
